Black Hawk Rental / Black Hawk Equipment – Waterloo & Cedar Falls, IA

Black Hawk Rental / Black Hawk Equipment is continuing to grow, and we’re looking for a motivated Equipment Yard Attendant to join our team! This role supports a diverse customer base including homeowners, construction professionals, agricultural operations, commercial businesses, industrial clients, and municipalities.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the equipment industry, with advancement opportunities into roles such as Mechanic, Delivery Driver, or Rental Coordinator.

We currently have full-time and part-time openings at both of our locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload rental equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect and document equipment before and after rentals
• Perform light maintenance and basic repairs
• Clean, organize, and maintain equipment and yard
• Prepare new equipment for resale
• Assist with general grounds maintenance

Qualifications

• Positive, outgoing personality with strong customer interaction skills
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and work ethic
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively across departments (Parts, Service, Sales, Rental)
• Equipment knowledge or experience in landscaping or construction is a plus
• Understanding of equipment operation and applications preferred
• Professional appearance required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Must meet Company Driver Policy and pass annual motor vehicle checks
